However, Microsoft is also betting to rock the market with their Surface earbuds and Surface Neo, a dual-screen all-purpose device that could act as a tablet or laptop as needed. Yes, you may be thinking that there are other products that do this; wait until the end, and you will see why this one is different.

Most of these new devices will be available on this year’s holiday season. With the exception of the Surface Neo and Surface Duo, though. You will have to wait until the next holiday season in 2020.

As was expected, some specs of the device were leaked. But here you have Microsoft’s official statement about each one of their new products.

Surface Laptop 3:

The newest member of the Surface line of laptops will hit the market on October 22. It will come in a 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes. Surface Laptop 3 is currently available as a preorder. So, if you can stand the thrill, you can buy it for 999 $.

You might be wondering; what’s under the hood? Well, on the 15-inch version, you will get a tailor-made AMD Ryzen 7 processor. Alongside it, you will also get an AMD Vega graphics. The combination of this discrete graphics car, with the latest AMD processor, will yield top performance.

In contrast, the 13-inch version has the newest quad-core Intel processor; it is a 10th-gen, of course.

Swinging to port layout, you will be pleased to know that USB type C is here to stay. Additionally, both versions have a larger trackpad, giving you more room to get to any point of the screen.

Maintenance-wise, you will be able to access the laptop from the top cover. However, Microsoft’s spokesperson advice that should only be done by experts.

Surface Earbuds.

With the Surface Earbuds, Microsoft is expecting to get a share of the Smart earbuds market.

Like other similar devices, it works via Bluetooth, and the buds are stored in a charging case. Great, right? If what Microsoft says is true, the Earbuds have a 24 hours’ autonomy.

According to Microsoft, the Surface Earbuds can be easily connected with any device that has Bluetooth connection. And it has Android compatibility. Therefore, you can use it on any Android-based device.

One of the best features of this amazing device is that it can translate, thanks to its Office 365 integration, PowerPoint presentations to over 60 languages.

Like the Surface Laptop 3, you will be able to buy the Earbuds this holiday season. The initial price tag is about $ 249.

Surface Pro 7.

Little was revealed about the Surface Pro 7. However, we can tell you that it comes with a Surface Pen. Which allow you to write and edit Word documents.

Additionally, the device has a better response to voice commands due to the incorporation of Studio mics. And, like the Surface Laptop 3, it comes with a USB type C port. But it still has the old Surface Connect port.

The price for this device starts at $ 749. But depending on the configuration, the price tag could increase significantly. And like happens with all the other devices, the Surface Pro 7 will be released on October 22.

Surface Pro X.

This gadget will have a price tag of $ 999. Yes, it is a little expensive, but believe us, it has some great features that make it a bang for the buck.

The Surface Pro X has a Snapdragon processor under the hood. Thanks to it, the Surface Pro X has a 7W power draw. So, don’t worry about running out of battery.

It has a 2880×1920 resolution with a 1400:1 contrast ratio; you will not be able to take the eye away from the Surface Pro X screen. In terms of connectivity, the device is able to pick LTE signals. Hence, you will have great internet speeds.

At the same time, Microsoft announced the release of a new Surface Pen. Which, according to the company, works just perfectly with the Surface Pro X 4096 levels of pressure. And for all the artists out there, the Surface Pro X and Surface Pen combination has an outstanding performance with the new Adobe Fresco app.

Surface Duo.

This is more like two separate screens rather than a foldable-screen device. Each one has a 5.6-inch display, which means that you have enough screen space.

Thankfully, the Surface Duo runs on Android. So, no worries about compatibility issues. The only downside is that you will not be able to get it until the Holiday season of 2020.

Surface Neo.

This tablet-laptop hybrid has a dual-screen with Gorilla Glass protection. Powered by Intel hardware and running on Windows 10 X, this device is great for productivity tasks and on the go work.

It comes along with a magnetic pen and keyboard. Therefore, there is nothing you can’t do with the new Surface Neo. And when you detach the keyboard, the display will automatically change to provide you with a laptop-like experience.

And don’t worry about the new Windows version, it is just an optimized OS for dual-display gadgets. So, expect no compatibility issues with it.

With the Surface Neo, Microsoft expects to bring down the wall that separates tablets and laptops. The device is expected to hit the market in 2020.
